Linda has a wide and varied experience of garden landscaping and design and can cope with projects of all sizes. These vary from re-laying steps into a garden, to creating bespoke patios, to building walls and pergolas, clearing and replanting unkempt gardens, pruning and planting fruit trees, researching and sourcing specific shrubs, trees and plants, and advising on all aspects of gardening and garden landscaping. She thoroughly researches the availability and costs of materials so that she can quote the most appropriate and cost effective deal. She can provide samples of materials and brochures so that informed decisions can be made, and will quote the time required and the cost for the project. An invoice is provided and staged payment is available. When necessary she engages the services of a colleague who helps with some of the manual labour. They arrive at the expected time and work hard, stopping only briefly for cups of tea.
I first met Linda Collins in the gardens of the home of Dame Cleo Laine which had been completely transformed from its unkempt state to newly planted formal gardens by Linda.
My next encounter with Linda Collins was when I sought her advice regarding the unequal levels between our newly tarmacked road and the verges/driveways at the front of our houses. She advised and quoted a price to supply and lay the appropriate grade of turf and consequently the residents engaged her to carry out the work. Since then residents have privately sought her services to carry out individual tasks.
We commissioned Linda to create an apron to our driveway laid in setts, and the hanging of new wrought iron gates. We are very satisfied with the finished effect and I have no hesitation in recommending her.
